WHAT PLANTS ARE FOR SALE?
You will be able to purchase GMO FREE herbs, vegetables, flowering annuals, hanging baskets, house plants, and perennial plants. All the PLANTS offered at the sale will be personally hand-picked by Wicker Park Garden Club members to perform well in Chicago. Volunteers will assist you with finding the plants that will work best in your gardens, containers, or roof tops – and – help you find the perfect gift for your mother.

MEET With Love Chicago – Sparking Joy Through Small Acts of Kindness
With Love Chicago, our mission is to spark ripple effects of joy by surprising people with kindness through creating and placing small bouquets of flowers across Chicago for strangers to find.
CREATE A BOUQUET – $5 Suggested Donation – With Love Chicago will provide flowers and supplies for you to create beautiful bouquets with the intent of placing them in public places for strangers to find. Since it’s Mother’s Day weekend, we also welcome you creating an additional bouquet for yourself if you’re a mom, or for the mother in your life. No bouquet making experience necessary, we will offer floral design tips and will have volunteers on hand to assist. And, there will be an opportunity to find out who finds your bouquets via Instagram. Join us in sparking joy! INSTAGRAM
MEET Chicago Tomato Man
PURCHASE Chicago Tomato Man’s Tomatoes – Table Top Variety – While Supply Lasts – $10/Plant: All of the plants will be Tabletop varieties. They are ideal for people with limited space; they only get 12″-16″ when full grown, they will be closer in size to 4″–6″ when you get them at the Plant Sale. The fruit is cherry size or slightly larger. No beefsteaks.
SUPERB For Balconies and Patios: They’re ideal for balconies and patios. People often ask about whether it’s possible to grow them indoors. Yes, but only with outdoor conditions. The plant needs at least six hours of direct sunlight every day (best beside a large window, preferably south facing). And the indoor temperature is regularly 75° or warmer. At Rose Pest Solutions, we put ecosystems above profits. At the Plant Sale ROSE will distribute native pollinator plant seeds that when planted will help our ecosystem.
We’re not anti-bug. We respect the role insects play in our world, and their importance in our ecosystem. Learning about what’s cool, what’s fascinating, and even what’s gross in the natural world is so much fun. We want to share that knowledge and fun with everyone!

Wicker Park Advisory Council & Garden Club in partnership with the Chicago Park District will present the 2024 Annual Wicker Park Garden Club Plant Sale. The sale is a FUNDRAISER for the 10,000 sq. ft. of Park Gardens. The gardens are designed, funded and maintained by the Wicker Park Garden Club and are registered as part of the Chicago Park District Community Gardens in the Parks Program
