About the Strategic Plan

Our last plan was created in 2012, so it’s time for us to take the Park District into the next decade with a refreshed purpose and mission. We hope that this process will help us strengthen our workforce and structure, critically examine our recreational programs and use of park spaces, and provide a blueprint to serve the public while also preserving our fiscal stability into the future. Our goal is for the plan to be completed in Summer 2024.
