*Participants must be a part of the Chicago Park District Boxing program and the closest Boxing Center in our Area, is Humboldt Park.

CHICAGO PARK DISTRICT BOXING GYMS: At a Chicago Park District boxing gym youth and adults can learn to box or train for competitions such as Golden Gloves and area boxing shows. Most youth boxing programs are for ages 8 and older. Instruction is available for both first-time and experienced boxers. The Chicago Park District’s youth boxing program has produced a number of professionals including Olympians Michael Bennett, David Diaz, Nate Jones and Leroy Murphy, and former champion Montell Griffin.

Our boxing program features:

• Instructors licensed by the U.S. Amateur Boxing Federation
• Group and individual coaching
• Fitness training and sparring experience
• Local and citywide tournaments
